Membership Renewal Time

Monday, November 2, 2026

I have two major messages for you this month: one is very short, and the other a bit longer. Let’s start with the longer message.

Next year, CNJG is celebrating its 30th anniversary. We are grateful to you and all other funders in the state, whose memberships, grants, sponsorships, and support have helped us together achieve so much!

This month, we will ask you to renew your membership for the 2027 calendar year. You joined CNJG to become part of a philanthropic community that is striving to always be “Doing Good Better.”  As a member, you have a say in the work of this community. And a great place to do that is at CNJG’s 2026 Annual Meeting & Holiday Gathering, where you will elect a new class of trustees to help guide the organization. You will also hear of our accomplishments in 2026 and some exciting new developments for 2027. Register today!

And if you’ve yet to remit your 2026 dues, please do so as soon as possible. As a member you’ve accessed events, programs, and services throughout 2026, and your dues support that exceptional body of work.

We are pleased to bring Jen Ford Reedy, President of the Bush Foundation and author of Please Be Good at Philanthropy, to headline the Annual Meeting! Jen reminds us that, “foundations can and do change the world.” These kinds of uplifting and inspirational sentiments can be found throughout her book and are exactly the message and feeling we want to embody throughout the Annual Meeting. After Jen's keynote, she'll be joined by Lynne Toye, Executive Director of the New Jersey Arts & Cultural Renewal Fund, for a comfy chair conversation about the book.

A big thank you to our sponsors to date - we couldn't do this without you! Special thanks to Signature Sponsor – Prudential Foundation; Contributing Sponsors – The Campbell’s Company, Devils Youth Foundation, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and Wells Fargo; Supporting Sponsor –  F. M. Kirby Foundation, Grunin Foundation, Panasonic Foundation, Pincus Family Foundation; and Community Sponsor – Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, with additional support from NJM Insurance Group. If you'd like more information regarding sponsorship, please reach out to me or Development Associate Fortunata Cuomo.

Thank you in advance for renewing your membership with CNJG. This is an important revenue stream for CNJG to help provide educational programs and events, opportunities for collaboration, the latest news and information, and advocacy for the sector.

I look forward to seeing you at the CNJG Annual Meeting & Holiday Gathering on December 9!

As for the short, second message:
