Join fellow members on Wednesday, December 9 for our Annual Meeting & Holiday Gathering. This year’s theme: Building Bridges, Building Trust, reflects our shared commitment to breaking down power dynamics, deepening funder-grantee relationships, and strengthening the collective capacity to tackle NJ’s most pressing challenges.

In a relaxed conversational setting, Jen Ford Reedy, President of the Bush Foundation and author of Please Be Good at Philanthropy, will draw on decades of grantmaking leadership to challenge and inspire us to go beyond our good intentions.

Let’s celebrate the holiday season together, build community with new and long-term members, learn from each other's experiences, and collectively envision a healthy, thriving, and civically engaged New Jersey where people of all places, racial identities, socio-economic backgrounds, abilities, and identity expressions are valued for their gifts and talents, and we can all reach our full potential and participate generously in the common good.

This event is open to staff and trustees of grantmaking organizations only.

If you would like to register after online registration is closed, please contact Dana Schwartz, Office Manager, at (609) 414-7110, extension 801 or via email to be invoiced for payment.

For the safety and well-being of all participants, please do not attend if you are feeling ill or displaying flu-like symptoms. If you have already registered and are unable to attend due to illness, please notify CNJG as soon as possible. No refunds will be given, however, for illness-related absences.

Please note on your registration any accommodations you would like to request including dietary needs.

Please register by Monday, December 7 at 5 pm. Walk-ins are subject to space available, and are a higher fee.

Due to the nature of this event, cancellations made on or before Friday, December 4 are subject to a $75 administration fee. Refunds will not be made for cancellations after that date, but you may notify Craig Weinrich by Monday, December 7 to send a substitute in your place if you are unable to attend. Name badges will be printed on Monday, December 7; any registrations after then will require you to complete a badge onsite.

Jen Ford Reedy is president of the Bush Foundation and author of Please Be Good at Philanthropy. She has also served as chief of staff and vice president of strategy for the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation. In addition, she spent nine years as a strategy consultant with McKinsey and Company. She designed and taught a philanthropy 101 class for the Minnesota Council on Foundations and is faculty for the New Foundation Executive programming for the national Council on Foundations. She's a Council on Foundations and the GroundBreak Coalition board member. Jen has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas and a master’s degree from the University of Chicago.
