Newark Funder Affinity Group: Developing Shared Housing Strategies in Newark

Please join us for our first Newark Funder Affinity Group Meeting of 2026 to discuss what will no doubt be a major theme for all of us in 2026 – housing. In November of last year, we held a Housing Working Group meeting of Newark funders, and there was clear interest in further exploring funding strategies with particular focus on homeless prevention/eviction diversion, increase in the supply of safe and affordable family units, and community ownership and shared equity models. We hope to continue this conversation in our February meeting with a more concrete focus on the City’s and our shared priorities.

We will have some light breakfast and networking between 9:00am and 9:30am, and we will start the meeting no later than 9:30am.
