Summit Foundations Approved $436,444 in Grants

The Summit Foundation Board of Trustees is pleased to announce $436,444 in grants to 26 area nonprofit organizations. These grants support older adults, public space enhancements, healthcare, education, disability programs, the arts, youth development, and food distribution.

‘It’s an honor to contribute to such a wide range of local programs and initiatives,” noted Foundation President Celia Colbert. “Whether offsetting the cost of a new ambulance for the Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad, supporting Summit Public Art installations, or enabling children with profound disabilities to move more freely, our spring 2026 grants strengthen our community and improve the lives of those we serve. That kind of effect inspires us and drives our work.”
