Newark Funder Affinity Group: Supporting the Capacity and Health of Newark’s Nonprofit Organizations and Staff

Over the past several years, Newark’s philanthropic community has initiated an exciting collaboration to identify strategies to help build the resilience of Newark’s nonprofit organizations and workforce. After several feedback sessions and convenings, the Newark funding and nonprofit communities co-created and kicked off the Newark Nonprofit Leadership Resiliency Fund (NNLRF). This Fund will directly support the capacity needs of Newark’s nonprofits community as identified by the community itself. At the same time, Prudential Financial launched a nonprofit worker initiative to address the financial health and personal resilience of the people who make our nonprofits run every day. We will use this meeting to hear updates on both initiatives from NNLRF leadership, Prudential Financial, and partner organizations.

Cost: Free for CNJG Members; $95 for Non Member Grantmakers
