Interest Groups

CNJG interest groups provide a valued forum through which New Jersey grantmakers can connect, exchange information, and learn from experts in a wide range of fields and sectors. Members with a focus on a particular geography or issue meet on a regular basis and are self-organized. For additional information or to discuss forming a new group, contact Craig Weinrich.

Funders for Strong and Thriving Communities Affinity Group

As of July 2026, CNJG dissolved this group. The listserve is still active, and is our largest list (most members are place-based in some capacity).

Monmouth & Ocean Roundtable of Funders

In partnership with the Grunin Foundation, CNJG supports the Monmouth & Ocean Roundtable of Funders (“MORF”). This group convenes periodically to discuss important and emerging issues in the two shore counties.

South Jersey Funders Consortium

This group usually meets twice a year to update each other on their activities in the eight southernmost counties of New Jersey.
