Virtual Annual Meeting

Friday, December 4, 2020

It’s been quite a year – and that’s an understatement. Between the COVID-19 pandemic, people protesting in the streets for racial justice and equity, the economic hardships that so many are experiencing, and an election season like no other – I think we are all anxious to put 2020 in the rear view.

But before we say good bye to 2020, I’m looking forward to seeing you at our first ever virtual CNJG Annual Meeting and Holiday Gathering. Spread over 2 days next week, this year’s meeting will help us discover the many ways philanthropy can use “Data for Social Impact” to turn evidence into action.

On Monday, December 7, we’ll kick off the event with our Annual Meeting Workshop: Beyond Traditional Evaluation presented by Equal Measure. During this interactive webinar session we’ll explore equitable evaluation strategies to help advance social change in the challenging context of the COVID-19 pandemic and racial justice movements.

On Tuesday, December 8, after our annual business meeting, our keynote presentation, Reimagining Philanthropy: Data for Social Impact will challenge us to consider how the social sector can leverage data science and technology to empower people, build more resilient communities, and address widening inequities in the face of COVID-19. Dr. Teri Behrens, Executive Director of the Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy will moderate this not-to-missed conversation with Shena Ashley, Vice President of Philanthropy and Nonprofits at the Urban Institute and Chapin Flynn, Senior Advisor and Senior Vice President of the Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth.

Thank you to our sponsors of the CNJG 2020 Annual Meeting & Holiday Gathering: Signature Sponsors – Novartis and PSEG, Sustaining Sponsors – Prudential and Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, Collaborating Sponsor – Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and Performance Sponsor - The Provident Bank Foundation. We greatly appreciate the generosity of our sponsors. We could not do this work without you!

There’s still time to register. I hope you’ll join us!
