Things are about to get a bit more musical at three Paterson elementary schools thanks to donations from the Save the Music Foundation, Superintendent Eileen Shafer announced.
In partnership with Sound Start: A Sound United Foundation, the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation and the PNC Foundation, students at Public School No. 3, Public School No. 12, and the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Educational Complex will access to an equipment package is valued at $23,469, according to a statement released by Shafer.
“We greatly appreciate the continuing support of the Save the Music Foundation and their partners for our elementary school music programs,” Shafer said. “The district holds music education in high priority, and it is extremely helpful to have these resources available in the schools where we have dedicated music educators at work.”
