Wednesday, July 22, 2015

Recent grants from the Rita Allen Foundation provide $425,000 to advance civic life though creative solutions for voter engagement, digital tools for ongoing local civic participation, and assessments of collaborative citizen science projects.

“The Rita Allen Foundation is investing in piloting approaches to help citizens gain a greater voice in the decisions affecting their communities. Lessons learned from these pilot projects will have broader applications for those who seek to strengthen civic engagement,” said Elizabeth Good Christopherson, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Rita Allen Foundation.
