The Trustees of The Fund for New Jersey awarded $715,000 in grants to non-profit organizations at their December 2016 quarterly Board meeting. Grants were awarded to ten organizations in the areas of public media, anti-poverty, civil rights & criminal justice, HIV/AIDS prevention and non-profit advocacy.
Kiki Jamieson, President of The Fund for New Jersey, stated, “The Fund for New Jersey is proud to support organizations at the forefront of public policy research, advocacy, and organizing to bring change in these uncertain times. The Fund is also looking forward to collaboration and coalition building among its grantees moving forward. Strong and reliable public media, social safety net protections, and a fair justice system are always important and will be even more so during times of political change.”
