The Campbell Soup Foundation has announced the election of Kim Fremont Fortunato, Campbell’s Director, Community Affairs, as its new President.
Since 1953, the Campbell Soup Foundation has provided financial support to communities throughout the U.S. where Campbell employees live and work. Each year, the Foundation donates more than $1.5 million to a variety of organizations that focus on community well-being, youth empowerment and economic sustainability programming to support the development of healthy communities.
Fortunato is the first female president of the Campbell Soup Foundation. She joined Campbell in 2010 as Director of Campbell’s Healthy Communities. In her current role as Director, Community Affairs, Fortunato is responsible for Campbell’s enterprise-wide community affairs strategy, including employee volunteerism, Campbell’s Healthy Communities and philanthropy. She is based at Campbell's World Headquarters in Camden and reports to Anthony Sanzio, Vice President, Global Communications. Sanzio is also a trustee of the Foundation.
