The Trenton and Mercer County Funders Affinity Group is excited to offer the chance for funders to meet with Mayor Reed Gusciora. He will speak about his vision for the city and how philanthropic partnership can drive change. This is a great opportunity for CNJG members to learn about the Administration’s work and current priorities.

In this meeting, we’ll also hear from Katherine Nunnally, CEO and Executive Director of the Smith Family Foundation regarding Trenton Kids Count 2019: A City Profile of Child Well-Being. This second Trenton Kids Count report in 20 years provides critical data on seven areas of child well-being which include demographics, family economic security, child health, child protection, child care, education and data on teens and young adults.

After both presentations, grantmakers will have the chance to share their work, explore how we can use findings from the Trenton Kids Count report to advance child well-being, and thoughts on how the philanthropic community can better collaborate with the city.

Lunch will be served at 12:00 Noon.

In collaboration with: The Burke Foundation, Council of New Jersey Grantmakers, City of Trenton, Educational Testing Service, Princeton Area Community Foundation, and Smith Family Foundation.

Cost: Free for CNJG Members/ $35 for Non Member Grantmakers
