Please join Rosie Grant and Doris Salgado of Paterson Education Fund; Farhanna Sayegh, first lady of Paterson; and Melissa Litwin of The Henry and Marilyn Taub Foundation to learn about New Jersey's Paterson Reads (PR) in a co-sponsored event with Council of New Jersey Grantmakers and the National Campaign for Grade-Level Reading led by the Annie E. Casey Foundation.

Paterson Reads is a founding member of the national Campaign for Grade-Level Reading and has adapted and evolved over a dozen years. A Collective Impact Project, under the leadership of Paterson Education Fund, PR brings together local institutions like Paterson Public Library and Paterson Public Schools, nonprofit partners like New Destiny Family Success Center and Paterson and Passaic Boys and Girls Club, and evidence-based national programs such as Reach Out and Read and Abriendo Puertas to support the goal of 3rd grade reading. CNJG partners, come learn why this issue is important and what strategies are known to impact 3rd grade reading outcomes. Grade Level Reading Initiative members, come and learn about Paterson’s unique and resilient implementation of campaign best practices.

Cost: Free for CNJG Members and Non Member Grantmakers.
