CNJG is pleased to join The Fund for New Jersey and partners for the Imagine More: Racial Justice Begins with Us virtual series. The second session will focus on disrupting the criminal justice system.

The racial disparities in the prison system in New Jersey are the worst in the nation. Black people are incarcerated at 12 times the rate of white people according to reporting by NJ.com. Despite some reforms, the disparities are getting worse for Black residents, people of color, and immigrants. The situation will not change unless we change it. Join us to find out how you can lead meaningful change on policing, sentencing, mass incarceration, re-entry, the school-to-prison pipeline, the impact of fines and fees, and immigrant detention.
