Join fellow Aging and Health Affinity members and meet Rachel Pruchno, PhD, Director of Research at the New Jersey Institute for Successful Aging (NJISA) and Principal Investigator of the ORANJ BOWL℠ (Ongoing Research on Aging in New Jersey: Bettering Opportunities for Wellness in Life) and learn what Rachel’s research is saying about older adult issues including “successful aging” and how it might impact our funding of older adult programs and community initiatives.

Meet Emily Greenfield, Associate Professor of Social Work at Rutgers, the State University of NJ and hear how her research is studying how to make aging services work better for and with individuals, families, communities, and society as a whole.

Discuss how research like theirs can help us, as Grantmakers, use, react to and work with their data and findings to make us better Grantmakers.

Discuss potential ways of posing questions that we might have about older adults in research going forward.

Lastly, network with fellow Health and Aging funders and tour an interesting care facility.
