Join us for a webinar with representatives from the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund (HSNJRF) and New Jersey Community Capital (NJCC) to learn how private funders can significantly leverage their grantmaking and help impacted families.
The Gap Funding Initiative (GFI) program helps eligible NJ households fill the gap between the total cost to rebuild and available funds. Kim Frawley of the HSNJRF and Wayne Meyer of NJCC will outline where things currently stand for homeowners trying to rebuild and how this program works.
New Jersey Community Capital designed the program and has granted more than $15 million to over 700 Sandy-impacted households. GFI launched over a year ago with initial funding from the Hurricane Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund and the American Red Cross. The program now requires additional funding to assist the 250 eligible homeowners on its waitlist. Learn more about this program, its impact and how you can help NJ families return home.
