Philanthropy Massachusetts has extended the invitation to CNJG members to take part in “Foundation Funding for Advocacy Activities”, a one-hour webinar to learn about activities that foundations can and cannot support around advocacy. The session will be presented by Alliance for Justice’s Bolder Advocacy.
This one hour webinar addresses:
• The rules for private and community foundations
• How foundation rules affect advocacy grant making
• What activities foundations may legally fund
• What activities a grantee should not ask a foundation to fund
All attendees will receive a copy of a new toolkit from AFJ’s Bolder Advocacy with tips on writing grant proposals and grant reports for advocacy activities, including lobbying.
This webinar will use the Zoom platform. You will need to create an account with Philanthropy Massachusetts before registering for this webinar. Access information will be shared with registrants by email one week and one day before the program.
