CNJG’s Finance and Investment Affinity Group exists to keep foundation executives informed as they manage the investment of their corpus. Growth of foundation assets and the active exchange of sound investment strategies is the focus of each program. This gathering will feature the investment perspectives of Stephen Jury, managing director of JP Morgan Asset Management. Stephen is the global head of fixed income, currencies and commodities specialists (FICC) serving the firm’s endowment, foundation and high net worth clients.

With the price of oil cut in half, international currencies down, and the US Dollar continuing to get stronger, not-for-profit investors worldwide are evaluating their portfolio exposure and potential action plans. Join us as we distill the causes of these trends and their impact on multi-asset class endowment portfolios. Along the way, Stephen will offer his perspective on the outlook from here and opportunities for sophisticated investors to take advantage of these trends as they continue to develop.
Based in New York, Stephen oversees the Global FICC Specialist teams in New York, London and Hong Kong. Stephen is responsible for developing FX and commodities investment strategies for clients around the world. Stephen has over 30 years of experience in the currencies and commodities markets. Prior to JPMorgan, Stephen was the chief FX dealer at Chemical Bank and global head of trading at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. More recently, Stephen was Chief Investment Officer at Greenwich, Connecticut-based Tradex Capital Markets. Prior to that, he was senior vice president in foreign exchange sales at HSBC Bank in New York, and deputy head of foreign exchange at UBS, also in New York. Stephen currently holds Series 7, 63, 9, 10 and 23 securities licenses.
