Finance and Investment Affinity Group Meeting: Navigating a Maturing Cycle
CNJG’s Finance and Investment Affinity Group exists to keep foundation executives informed as they manage the investment of their corpus. Growth of foundation assets and the active exchange of sound investment strategies is the focus of each program.
Navigating a Maturing Cycle: Where are the risks as the longest expansion gets longer?
The US is currently in the longest economic expansion on record. Markets are more volatile and investment decisions are more challenging in this “late cycle” environment. What is the best way for investors to position when recession risks appear to be more elevated? How should we consider the crosscurrents of lower interest rates and higher trade barriers? What is the role of the 2020 presidential election in shaping policy and the investment landscape?
During this breakfast program, JPMorgan Chase will present their market outlook. This will be a timely discussion given all the talk on yield curve inversion, recession fears, and China trade talks.
