How does a family foundation with no defined mission, no staff, no structure and siblings who spent little time together growing up pull itself together to fashion a high performing foundation in under 4 years? Hear the remarkable story and the lessons learned featuring the steps taken, professionals and organizations engaged, and the just plain hard work required to create something from almost nothing. The George B. Storer Foundation will be represented by the family member executive director, a family member trustee and a non-family member trustee and the session will be moderated by Karen Green, a family foundation governance expert and former vice president of the National Center for Family Philanthropy.

Presented by:

John Flicker, Board Member, George B. Storer Foundation
Karen Green, Foundation Consultant and former Vice President, National Center for Family Philanthropy
Elizabeth Storer, President & CEO, George B. Storer Foundation
Peter Storer, Jr., Chairman, George B. Storer Foundation
