Despite important efforts by philanthropy, funding overall has gotten less equitable. This means that cultural philanthropy is not effectively — or equitably — supporting the evolving cultural landscape. Join us and hear from two nationally recognized thought leaders on the latest research as New Jersey launches its first cultural workforce demographic study in partnership with DataArts.

Holly Sidford of Helicon Collaborative will discuss the latest in series of reports examining inequities in arts funding in the U.S., Not Just Money: Equity Issues in Cultural Philanthropy. Also joining the discussion is Edwin Torres, President & CEO of Grantmakers in the Arts, and former Deputy Commissioner New York City Department of Cultural Affairs who led the NYC cultural workforce demographic study in 2015.

Cost: Free for CNJG Members/$35 for Non Member Grantmakers
