CNJG has also been approached by Cities of Service, an initiative of Bloomberg Philanthropies to help in compiling information about needs and work in Trenton. Cities of Service is looking at the biggest issues facing New Jersey's cities and identifying ways that city leaders can bring together volunteers to "move the needle" in these areas. We would greatly appreciate you answering a very quick 3-question survey and then plan to join representatives from Cities of Service for a luncheon conversation hosted by Bloomberg L.P.
Contact Nina Stack at 609-341-2022 ext. 4210 for more information.
This is an invitation only luncheon for funders working in Trenton hosted by Bloomberg to help the national Cities of Service program personnel who are looking at initiatives in Trenton. There is no cost for this event.
About Cities of Service
Cities of Service is a national nonprofit that designs and supports the implementation of high-impact service strategies that can be replicated in cities worldwide. Founded in 2009 by Michael R. Bloomberg, the 108th Mayor of New York City, Cities of Service provides technical assistance, programmatic support, planning resources, and funding opportunities to our coalition of nearly 200 cities whose mayors are committed to using citizen volunteers to solve local pressing challenges. We help coalition cities share solutions, best practices, and lessons learned, as well as spread awareness about their great work.
