CNJG is pleased to offer this webinar series designed by our colleague Regional Associations from four Midwest states, who have collaborated to present this series designed to help you think smarter and perform better when it comes to combining corporate mission with philanthropic action. By participating, you'll hear data supporting the need for corporate philanthropy and development strategies to help giving programs succeed.

Corporate social responsibility, often abbreviated "CSR," is a corporation's initiatives to assess and take responsibility for the company's effects on environmental and social wellbeing. CSR and corporate philanthropy are now becoming an essential business function that help support communities where companies are based, foster employee engagement, and generate business value. A growing number of employees want to work for companies that support their communities, and consumers want to purchase goods from companies that are doing good in the world.

Hear from Partners for a Competitive Workforce, a workforce development collaborative about why employers can’t fill jobs, what to do about it and how you can leverage your CSR to address the challenges in your community. Then hear from two corporate foundations about their efforts to leverage their skills and investments to build the talent pipeline and develop a workforce equipped to succeed in the future economy.

Speakers
Janice Urbanik, Executive Director, Partners for a Competitive Workforce
Karen White, Senior VP of Community Relations, KeyBank and Senior Program Officer, KeyBank Foundation
